RESET to Connect with Families in Senior’s Care

Maya Angelou once said : “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
This can ring true to us all- but for me personally, it really resonated the day my husband was admitted into Long Term Care. Sure, they were efficient with their paperwork, their questions…but I felt processed. I felt like just another task in the staff’s already busy day. In this video, I explain how you, as somebody who works in seniors care, can ‘reset’ before meeting new families…or in any situation, and why this is so important to building positive, long lasting relationships.
